1) A New Patient Traditional Comprehensive Oral Evaluation (Single Visit):
Benefits a person who has a perception that their mouth is healthy, without a lot of existing dental work and few dental questions, without concerns about muscle and joint pain, broken or missing teeth, without a long list of current medications, and is generally happy with their current smile.
- One 90-min appointment.
- Evaluation of tooth decay, gum disease and oral cancer screening.
- A short tour of your mouth and a brief summary of conditions and recommendations based on the amount of time reserved for this appointment.
- A cleaning in the absence of advanced gum disease (bone loss).
- If there is advanced gum disease or a need for additional discussion, additional appointments will be needed to properly care for your dental needs.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. B! Being in healthcare and traveling for... a living, I really appreciated the emphasis he puts on patient education. I’ve never been able to sit down with the Dr. and be given detailed info on exactly what’s going on with my overall oral health. Dr. B is very detailed and knowledgeable and cares about doing right by his patients. Being honest, if you’re not someone who cares to know what is going on with your oral health, then this is not the place for you. But if you’re like me and loveee learning about what’s going on with your health, then this is the perfect place for you!! Pain woke me in the early morning and within hours, I was taken care of thoroughly. Walking into the office, the environment is so positive, clean and beautiful. Putting me at further ease was Theresa who gave me a tour and made checking in easy. I usually dread the typical dentist "lecture" and was so relieved that Dr Bienia approached this as a collaboration to get the best health outcome based upon my choices. I have a terrible gag reflex and he had a trick that eliminated that discomfort. Amazing! Dentistry By Design is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to! They are... thorough, have the latest and greatest technology, take their time, and make your experience as comfortable as possible! You might think that for such a wonderful experience you were about to pay a fortune but their pricing is excellent! Dr Bienia used an isolation dam which prevented all the water and everything else that happens in your mouth from going down your throat while he worked! He even gave me a little tooth pillow to help me relax my jaw while he worked! They go the extra mile to assess your mouth and create a complete plan of action to keep your whole mouth as healthy as possible. This is the first time I’ve felt they are not just “finding” problems to fix. They show evidence of what needs work but then let you decide when to take action. Theresa makes scheduling and working with insurance a breeze and always greets you with such warmth. Teri the assistant uses nonverbal cues to keep you super comfortable during the visit and is ready to help and make the appointment as smooth and fast as possible as well! Over the holiday weekend, I had a crown come loose. Although it was not an... emergency, I called Dr. Bienia's office to request an appointment as soon as they returned to the office after the weekend. To my delight, I received a call from Dr. Bienia the very next morning. He asked about the issue I was having and scheduled an appointment right after the weekend. Upon visiting the office my crown issue was assessed and corrected. As always, Dr. Bienia ad his staff talked me through their assessment and actions so I was confident that everything was being taken care of properly. The next day Dr. Bienia called to make sure everything was in good shape and corrected to my satisfaction. Excellent practice. Dr. B takes the time to teach and provide excellent... service. He taught me that grinding teeth can be an issue relates to breathing problems such as sleep apnea. Also, I got a filling and he used a drape to prevent saliva from interfering with the procedure. Saliva will prevent the filling from binding to tooth. I had a dentist do the procedure without the drape and it made a difference. I will always go here for my dental needs.read more

Dr. Bienia actually take the time to get a full understanding of your oral... hygiene. If there is a part of the mouth that is showing signs of issues, he will specifically tell you where to target your hygiene efforts. The goal from a gum perspective is for your gums to not bleed when irritated on any part of the mouth. Also, he told me the ideal way to keep your teeth healthy is to brush after every meal or at least rinse your mouth with water. I used to think that you should brush first thing in the morning, but he told me that it is better to brush after eating. Dr. Bienia is a great teacher.read more

Great office environment, gentle and relaxed examination, and the feeling that I was given lots of information to help me think about how I wanted to proceed with my dental care. Dr. B gave me lots of options and thoughts about what I might do, and let me know that we could proceed in whatever direction I wanted. No pressure, no sales pitch. This is the most amazing dentist office I’ve ever been to. The staff was... amazing, the office was comfortable and Dr. Bienia was personable, well educated and made sure I knew what he was talking about. I felt extremely comfortable in his care. I went due to really bad pain from my wisdom tooth being infected and they were able to see me the next morning. It is very clear they care about their patients well being. He even called me a few hours after to make sure I was doing okay! They were priced very fairly and only did what I needed and didn’t do anything without letting me know how much it would be. Dr. Bienia and his team truly focus on evidence based medicine when it comes to... your dental care. The entire staff are constantly educating you during your visit about your dental health and how it plays into your overall health and can affect other medical conditions you have. In the past, my dental appointments have been mostly spent with the dental hygienist and about 5-10 minutes with the dentist, who runs in, talks very quickly about how I need to brush and floss more, but never actually explains to me what is going on with my mouth and why I should be taking more care of my teeth. Dr. Bienia spent at least an hour and a half discussing my jaw, tooth and gum health. He explained why I have experienced certain issues with my jaw and my issues with my bite when I eat; as he cleaned my teeth and gums he took actual photos of the teeth and reviewed them with me, explaining how to improve the issues he saw. He even had me hold a mirror and allowed me to look along while he examined and cleaned, and explained findings that could be causing my issues. It was truly a learning experience and I feel like I know more about my oral health than I ever have, and feel much more motivated to take care of my teeth and gums now that I have had everything explained to me. The most important part however is that Dr. Bienia asked me what was most important to me, and gave me options for tackling each of my oral health goals. I have already recommended him to all of my coworkers and recommend him to anyone who is tired of the rushed and tedious dental appointments that are unfortunately the norm these days. I really look forward to continuing my care with him going forward.read more

He and his staff Theresa and Stephanie are very hospitable , down to earth and very informative of every step so that you’re aware of each process and reasoning of whatever needs to be done. Shout out to Dr. Bienia and his wonderful staff, Teresa and Stephanie. Dr.... Bienia has an excellent chairside manner and truly cares that you have the best dental health as possible. He takes the time to show you where the problems are and how to improve your overall dental health. Prior to going to Denistry by Design I was under the impression all was great and I was doing everything right. He took the time to show me the cracks in my teeth, some leaking fillings causing damage that would be much worse the longer they were left unattended. There is a no pressure approach to repair but does present a plan to fix things in a short or long range plan. It has been 2 years and my dental health is so much better and the appts. are shorter because my teeth and gums are in better shape! You only have one set! Dr. Bienia is a talented dentist. He takes the time to explain procedures and... why he recommends them. Last year I reluctantly agreed to a night guard. I have worn it faithfully for about 4 months and I noticed my jaw no longer pops! Dr. B explained that this is a common side effect of a night guard, but they don't like to guarantee the results because they vary by individual. The experience itself was about a two star experience but Dr Bienia and Stephanie get 5 stars as usual for their prompt and courteous professionalism.
