After 31 years, I’m convinced about and dedicated to the Specialty Education I received because of the practical experiences and results I have witnessed through its uses in our office. I fill in the “Missing Information” that people wish they had, after they have had a bad dental experience, usually related to a bad outcome.
The experience will ALWAYS be BETTER when the patient and dental team work together with a shared understanding of the existing condition, options, goals and desired results, before any treatment is begun.
All of us are more than the sum of our parts. No one can achieve total health and wellness without looking at the whole body as a set of systems with parts that work together, and no one can ensure total dental health just by checking for decay and having “just a cleaning.”

Meet Our Doctor | Dr. Jason Bienia DDS
After graduating from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Dr Bienia trained at two of the nation’s leading teaching institutions, The Pankey Institute and Spear Education. Since then he has focused his training and experience on treating the whole person and their specific needs, whether that be a single tooth restoration or full mouth rehabilitation or reconstruction.
His Philosophy is to understand the patient as a Person, involving them in their health care, helping them to choose the treatment option that is best for their personal goals and resources, and then providing that treatment in a comfortable and caring environment that promotes healing and total health.
Meet Our Treatment Co-Ordinator | Theresa Bienia
At an early age, Theresa developed an interest in healing. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Notre Dame College of Ohio. She completed her internship at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and Health Center for Clinical Microbiology.
Most of her career Theresa enjoyed being a Clinical Microbiologist for The Cleveland Clinic Foundation and working behind the scenes with her husband Dr Bienia.
Now Theresa works full time at Dentistry by Design bringing together people and systems for dental health care that improves and changes lives, focusing on total health. Her passion for patients as individuals shines through with every patient and team interaction.
